Duplication Services

Terms applicable to photocopying, photographic services, digitisation, audio-visual and audio material duplication, and exploitation

Researchers presenting a valid research license may, at their own cost, request copies of researched materials in a size and quality standard suitable for research purposes. Copies in a quality suitable for publication or further use are subject to the signature of a special public use agreement. The production and issue of copies of this type must adhere to the provisions of Hungarian Act LXXXVI of 1999 on Copyrights.

Photo and Copy Services Price List

How to order:  Once personally conducted research has been completed, fill out and sign an order form on-site or send one by e-mail (archivum@neprajz.hu) to order the desired service.  An invoice for labour charges, payable in cash or by bank transfer, will be issued.  Once the museum has received payment, you may pick your order up in person, or have it sent by post or e-mail.

In the absence of a signed exploitation agreement, the museum can provide only low resolution images for research purposes.

Legal Agreement for Photographic Image Publication

Where the intent is publication (exhibitions, books, periodicals, etc.), the customer must sign a contract with the institution that states both the mode of publication and any charges to be paid (publication fees, royalties, etc.). Customers will receive digital photographs produced in a resolution suitable for professional printing only once the corresponding invoice has been paid.

All public use of photographic material shall be subject to signature of a case-specific agreement with the Museum of Ethnography. For complete terms of use, see the Museum's Legal Agreement for Photographic Image Publication.

Film and Video Copying, Borrowing, and Use

For the charges associated with the copying and borrowing of film materials, see the museum's Film and Video Copy Price List.

All public use of film materials shall be subject to signature of a case-specific agreement with the Museum of Ethnography.
