Who said you can't dance in a museum? Two cultural experiences for the price of one ticket: dance lesson and an exhibition visit at the Museum of Ethnography!
Moldavian Hungarian dances preserve one of the most archaic layers of the Hungarian folk dance tradition—with unique rhythms, forms, and atmosphere.
Come and learn with us on May 27 at 5:00 p.m.! The dance class will be led by Panka Horányi-Pirók, a folk dance instructor and the founder and women’s director of “Intenzív Néptánc.” We recommend it for beginners and all ages.
Movement and tradition—and suddenly you see the museum in a whole new light.
Please note, that the event is going to be conducted primarily in Hungarian; English instructions will be given only upon request. Thank you for your understanding!
Your "all-in" exhibition ticket grants you to participate in the programme — otherwise, if you wish to participate in the dance lessons only, and skip visiting the exhibitions, the ticket price is only 1,500 HUF.
Venue: Museum of Ethnography, Damjanich Street entrance hall
