Diplomatic Evening of Discovery and Dialogue at the Museum of Ethnography

On the occasion of the Museum’s 154th anniversary, we hosted a diplomatic evening attended by several ambassadors and members of the diplomatic community. During the event, we presented the history of our institution, introduced our galleries and current exhibitions, and shared insights into our international collaborations. In his welcome address, the Director, Dr Lajos Kemecsi, emphasised that the Museum serves as a peaceful meeting place for civilisations and cultures, and as a safe space for dialogue. Our guests gained an overview of our professional activities and the Museum’s role in fostering cultural exchange. We sincerely thank all participants for honouring us with their presence and for contributing to the open and welcoming atmosphere of the evening. We look forward to continuing our cooperation and strengthening our professional relationships in the future.
